Every year, GRNC hosts an incredible summer camp dedicated to building community and power among girls, transgender youth, and gender expansive youth through musical collaboration, political education for social change, and creative expression.

We welcome rising 3rd through 10th graders to join us as Campers!

Rising 11th and 12th graders should apply as Youth Mentors!

THE CAMPER EXPERIENCE

During summer camp, campers get to receive instruction on an instrument of their choice, write original music, and participate in a range of workshops with their peers!

THE YOUTH MENTOR EXPERIENCE

Youth Mentors are volunteers who are rising 11th or 12th graders or people who are ages 16-18 at the start of camp.

YMs are a bridge between the camper and volunteer/staff experience, which means they get to both work with volunteers/staff to coordinate and facilitate camp while also having the chance to (if interested) form bands, have daily band practice, and perform in the showcase!

NOTE ON LOCATION

In recognition of rising COVID rates and in alignment with GRNC's core values, this year's policy is that masking is required indoors for campers and volunteers. A negative PCR test is not required. If feeling sick, camper must stay home. This policy enables camp to remain accessible for our immunocompromised campers, volunteers, and organizers.
