ROCK ROULETTE 2026
Rock Roulette is our annual adult program. It is also our largest fundraiser of the year!
This is a rock camp experience for adults to participate in, all while raising money for Youth Rock NC! We place registrants into bands based on musical interests, locations, and other factors. These bands then have ~10+ weeks to get together and write original music along with an optional cover song to perform at our Rock Roulette showcase on April 18th, 2026.
In 2024, we were able to raise a record-breaking $36,000+ for our year-round programming, primarily for our 2 weeks of Summer Camp. Join us as we try and beat the record again!

Rock Roulette FAQ
Nope! Rock Roulette is open to any and all levels of musical experience. No experience with any instrument or performance is necessary.
Do I need any musical experience to participate?
Will I be able to borrow gear I need?
Yes! GRNC has a library of gear that we can lend out to participants. Some examples of gear we have are: guitars, basses, drum kits, keyboards, microphones, and pedals, along with necessary accessories such as cables and amps. All we ask is that you take good care of it and return it back to us in time for our summer camp youth to use!
A Rock Roulette participant can realistically expect to spend 3-5 hours per week practicing, fundraising, and having fun with their bands.
Bands are encouraged to meet up for practice at least once a week within the 10 week period. GRNC will also facilitate multiple meet-ups, both to build band bonding and to lead instrument skillshares, throughout the process. There will be two major events both at the kick-off and conclusion of RR.
